Troy Prevot, PA-C has diverse experience in worker's compensation insurance, occupational medicine, and risk management settings. Following 8 years as a Physician Assistant with Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Center, he co-founded CORE L.L.C. Occupational Medicine Resource Company, providing professional occupational medicine staffing, urgent care staffing, case management, toxicology/chemical medical surveillance, DOT consulting, and management of occupational medicine programs.
In 2006, he became Senior Vice President for LUBA Casualty managing the following departments: LUBA Care, IT, loss control, internal audit and compliance, claims ($33 million dollars spend), and medical cost containment. In this role, Mr. Prevot helped craft legislation to change Workers’ Compensation in Louisiana by developing medical practice guidelines and provided network design and implementation. As Executive Vice President for Louisiana Commerce and Trade Association Mutual Holding Company, Mr. Prevot was responsible for business development, strategic planning, and enterprise risk planning, and medical cost containment providing support to over 1200 employers including benefits and risk management services. Currently, he serves as Vice President of PRIME Occupational Medicine (POM) and manages PRIME Global Services, virtual and project service arm of POM with national and international clients in all industries. He sits on the board of directors for multiple insurance carriers.
