Kryste Harper joined The American Equity Underwriters, Inc. in 2025 and serves as Litigation Specialist. Prior to joining AEU, Kryste maintained a diverse legal practice throughout Louisiana and Texas in both state and federal courts for 24 years, representing businesses and individuals in all areas of civil litigation. She has extensive experience representing some of the nation's largest insurance carriers in coverage disputes for commercial and residential property/casualty, general commercial liability, products liability, automobile liability, and insurance subrogation. Kryste obtained her bachelor's degree and law degree from Louisiana State University, and she is also qualified as a civil mediator and a family/divorce mediator. In addition to the Louisiana and Texas State Bar Associations, she is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Middle, and Western Districts of Louisiana; the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit; and the United States District Court for the Southern District of Texas.
