Joel Valle is a seasoned safety and training leader with over 26 years in the bulk and breakbulk handling industry. After 19 years as an equipment operator, he served as Safety and Training Manager for several years before becoming the Corporate Training Director for 22 terminals across the U.S. In this role, he has trained and certified over 500 operators and developed site-specific programs that connect safety and operations, resulting in thousands of training hours and measurable improvements in workplace safety and efficiency.

His expertise spans OSHA 10/30 certifications in General Industry and Maritime, MSHA training, and specialized equipment training, including crane operations, PIT training, earth-moving equipment, CHE and material handling. Known for bridging the gap between safety protocols and practical leadership, Joel has earned strong buy-in from both workers and management.

A passionate advocate for leadership development, he has led initiatives for supervisors, management and workers, cultivating a culture of safety through engagement and empowerment. Joel’s vision is to inspire operators to become not just safe, but influential leaders who drive positive change across the industry.
