Is AEU providing transportation from New Orleans to Mobile?

AEU is providing transportation to and from Mobile on Thursday, December, 12. Pick-up will be at the AEU Metairie Office. Be sure to select that you will need transportation on the registration form. Transportation details will be emailed directly to employees who select transportation from New Orleans to Mobile. 

What time is the Annual Meeting and where is the location?

The Annual Meeting will be from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM at the Mobile Convention Center - Room 201. The address for the Mobile Convention Center is 1 S Water St, Mobile, AL 36602

Where should I park for the Annual Meeting at the Convention Center?

Paid parking is available at the Convention Center parking garage and the open lot adjacent to the Convention Center.

The Riverview Plaza parking garage has paid parking and is connected via skywalk to the Convention Center. 

AEU will reimburse your parking expenses.

What time is the Christmas Party and where is the location?

The Christmas Party will be from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Crown Hall.  The address for Crown Hall is 853 Dauphin St Suite A, Mobile, AL 36602. 

How far is Crown Hall from the Mobile Convention Center? If I drive, where should I park at Crown Hall?

Crown Hall is approximately 1 mile from the Convention Center, a 20-minute walk or 5-minute drive. Limited parking is available at Crown Hall, with additional paid street parking and lots within 1-2 blocks.

AEU will reimburse your parking expenses.

What date do I have to confirm my RSVP by?

RSVP is due Monday, December 2, 2024. Please be sure to register to confirm your attendance. 

I'm planning on staying overnight in Mobile. Is AEU organizing a room block?

AEU will not organize a room block. If you need to stay overnight for a business reason, please speak with your manager. 

What should I wear? Are we still wearing festive Christmas sweaters?

Festive attire is encouraged and jeans are acceptable.  

Will there be games at the Annual Meeting?

There will be games during the Annual Meeting. 

Will there be prizes?

Yes, there will be prizes for the winning participants.

Will there be an afterparty?

AEU is not coordinating an afterparty.
