Brett E. Casey, MD, MBA is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Gulf Coast Orthopedic Clinic in Houma, Louisiana. In addition to being a surgeon, Dr. Casey is a business owner, mentor and entrepreneur. He completed his undergraduate education at Louisiana State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He obtained his medical degree in 1999 from Louisiana State University Medical Center. Dr. Casey’s orthopedic residency was completed through Texas A&M University Health Sciences Center, with rotations through Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Olin E. Teague Veterans Center and the Shriner’s Hospital for Crippled Children. His observation of the rapidly changing healthcare environment prompted him to earn his Master in Business Administration degree from Yale University in 2017. Combining his mastery of orthopedic surgery with his business knowledge, Dr. Casey continually discovers ways to improve patient results and create a more resilient workforce, which is vitally important to organizational success.
