Tim Sheppard is the Assistant Vice President and Corporate Director of Loss Control for The Cooper Group, managing a team of 21 Regional Loss Control and Environmental Directors. Tim has been employed by The Cooper Group since January 1990, and since that time he has lived and worked as a Regional Loss Control Director in Norfolk, Va., Long Beach, Ca., New Orleans, La. and Mobile, Al.

Staying proactive and on the cutting edge of loss prevention, maintaining compliance with changing Federal, State to Local regulations is a never-ending task for the Loss Control Team of The Cooper Group and its diversity of operations. These operations include numerous dock-side and mid-stream marine cargo handling operations to bulk, breakbulk and container cargo facilities, timber procurement, wood chip mills, saw mills, harbor assist and river tug boats, large fleet of barges, barge cleaning/repair and dry dock operations, repair and new construction ship yard, restaurants and numerous other partnership companies.

Tim is a native of Mobile, Alabama and a graduate of the University of Mobile.
