Brian McElreath is a Partner in the Charleston office of Lueder, Larkin & Hunter, LLC. Brian's practice focuses on the defense of Longshore and Defense Base Act claims nationwide and defense of state workers’ compensation claims in South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia. Brian also handles subrogation claims. Brian represents a variety of employers, insurance carriers, self insurers, group mutual insurers, group self insurers, group associations, and third-party administrators. Brian has handled numerous cases in front of Federal Administrative Law Judges, the Department of Labor, the Benefits Review Board, the Office of Workers’ Compensation Programs, The Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals, The Elevent Circuit Court of Appeals, Georgia Administrative Law Judges, South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commissioners, North Carolina Industrial Commissioners, Virginia Deputy Commissioners, and courts throughout South Carolina, Georgia, North Carolina, and Virginia.
