Slips, trips, and falls pose significant risks to the safety and well-being of ALMA members. Not only are they a leading cause of injuries, but they also tragically result in fatalities across all industries. In this session, we will share valuable resources developed through a new AEU campaign designed to prevent fall-related injuries. Using these engaging tools, you can proactively prevent fall-related injuries by targeting the high-risk behaviors that contribute to their unfortunate incidence. After attending, participants will be able to:

• Describe why a traditional “facts and figures” approach to preventing slips, trips, and falls has a limited effect on employee behavior
• Outline steps critical to reducing the occurrence of at-risk behaviors
• Gain access to resources developed to help prevent slips, trips, and falls
