Dr. Blauvelt began practicing in South King County in 1997 and joined Cascade Orthopaedics in 2003. He received his medical degree at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, TN before completing his 5-year orthopedic training at Texas Tech University, Lubbock. Dr. Blauvelt then participated in an additional year of subspecialty fellowship training in Surgery of the Hand and Upper Extremity at the University of California Medical Center, Davis in Sacramento. Following a traveling international fellowship of 18 months duration, he began practice in Western Washington.
