Joe Aumell joined The American Equity Underwriters, Inc. in 2016. He serves as a Claims Specialist. Prior to joining AEU, Joe worked for a global shipping company and terminal operator as a Claims Manager for 12 years, handling USL&H, cargo, general liability, subrogation and auto claims. Before that, he worked for 14 years for a national third party administrator handling USL&H, Jones Act, general liability, and auto claims.  Joe earned his bachelor’s degree from Seattle University, later receiving a master’s degree from The Pennsylvania State University.
