Matt Hollub is the Associate Director for Occupational Safety and Health at the University of Alabama Safe State Program, currently directing the state’s OSHA Consultation program. He has over 35 years of industrial hygiene and safety experience including field services, training development/delivery, team management, and governmental relations. He is also professionally certified by the American Board of Industrial Hygiene (ABIH) and the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). Matt has served as President of the National Association of Occupational Safety and Health Consultation Programs (OSHCON), and as President of the Alabama Chapter of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP). Committed to the advancement of public safety and health, Matt serves on governing and advisory committees with organizations and educational institutions, including the University of North Alabama, the Alabama Governor’s Safety and Health Conference, the Central Alabama Safety and Health Conference and the Alabama Struck-By Alliance. He holds a BS Degree in Mineral Engineering from the University of Alabama and an MS in Occupational Safety and Health from the University of Southern Mississippi.
